On June 13, 2014; Jaya Varusha Vaikasi Kettai, Day 9 of the ongoing Vasanthotsavam was celebrated grandly at Srirangam Ranganatha Swamy Divya Desam. In the evening, at around 5 pm, Namperumal had purappadu on Thanga Kudhirai around the Chitra Veedhis. Namperumal entered the Northern entrance (Vadakku Vasal) to the Thayar Sannidhi where Thiruvandhikappu took place. From here, Namperumal had purappadu again through the Vadakku Vasal and entered the Moolasthanam through the Ranga Gopuram.
