On 20 August 2014, Jaya Avani Mirugashirsham; Uriyadi Utsavam was celebrated in grand manner at Nanganallur Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar Navaneetha Krishnan Temple. In the evening Thiruveethi Purappadu took place for Sri Navaneetha Krishnan in Vennai Thazhi Kannan Thirukolam and then Uriyadi Utsavam took place in the temple and in the mada veethis .Several astikas took part in the Uriyadi Utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Navaneetha Krishnan .
