Yesterday, April 14, 2015; Manmadha Varusha Chithirai Avittam: being Tamil Varusha Pirappu, Sri Devaperumal Purappadu took place in grand manner at Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Kanchipuram.On this occasion, In the morning around 8.45 a.m Perumal with Ubhaya Nachimars get down from thirumalai and asthanam at Kannadi Arai. There Thirumanjanam was performed in magnificient manner with lot of srivaishnavas enjoying the Thirumanjanam. Later in the evening around 5.30 P.m Sri Devaperumal with his consorts in Mangalagiri Thiruveedhi purappadu took place in Maada Veedhis of Kanchipuram. Lot of srivaishnava took part in the goshti parayanam. Several astikas participated in the Manmadha Varusha Pirappu purappadu and received the blessings of the Divya Dampathis
