On, 22 October 2015; Manmadha varusha Purattasi Sravanam; Maha Navami Utsavam was celebrated in grand manner at Sri Devaperumal Sannidhi, Kanchipuram. In Morning around 10.00 a.m, Sri Devaperumal with Sri Thayar Purappadu from Kannadi arai to Sri Thayar Sannadhi. There Thirumanjanam was performed to Sri Perundhevi Thayar and Sri Devaperumal in a very grand manner and Asthanam at Mandapam.
Later in the evening around 6.30 p.m, Divya Dampatis Purappadu from Thayar Sannadhi and Padiyettram. Then Nootrukal Mandapam Ezhundharuli reaching oonjal Mandapam, There oonjal sevai followed by thiruvaradhanam, nivedanam, theertham and Satari , Goshti took place in grand manner at Oonjal Mandapam. Several Astikas took part in the Mahanavami Evening purappadu and Oonjal Sevai and had the blessings of Divyadampatis.
