On, October 2, 2015,Manmadha varusha purattasi Karthikai; Pavitrotsavam Day-5 was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Vedantha Desikar Devasthanam (SVDD), Mylapore. On this occasion in the morning Sri Srinivasa Perumal along with Swami desikan had Sevai in Kannadi Arai followed by ThiruPavithrothsava Homam and Poornahuti.In the evening Sri Srinivasa Perumal along with Swami desikan had Thiruveethi Purappadu followed by ThiruPavithrothsava Homam and Poornahuti.Several devotees witnessed and offered pradakshanams to whole area covered for Pavitrotsavam, Veda Parayana ghoshti, Nalayira Dhivya Prabhanda goshti and Sri Ramanyana parayanams. Many Bhakthas took part in the homam conducted on day 5 of Pavithrotsavam and had the blessings of Divyadampatis.
