Masi Amavasai Thirumanjanam and Purappadu took place in a grand manner at Kanchi Sri Devarajaswami Temple. On March 9th 2016, in the morning Sri Perumal along with His Consorts started their Purappadu from Thirumalai to Abhisheka Mandapam and Thirumanjanam was performed. Later in the evening Sri Perumal with His Ubhaya Nachiyars had Thiruveethi Purappadu followed by asthanam. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Many Bakthas participated in the Thirumanjanam and Purappadu and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
