The annual Pavithrotsavam at Sri Balaji Mandir, Fanaswadi, Mumbai commenced on September 20th, 2016. As part of the utsavam, The previous day evening, Mruthsangraham and angurarpanam was done as per agama sastras. On day 1 of pavithrotsavam, pavithram samarpithal took place to Perumal and All moorthies and later Homam was conducted in the morning and evening. The pavithrotsavam will be held for three days and will conclude on 22nd September 2016 with mahapoornahuthi. Few Prabandha Adhikaari from srirangam have arrived for Arulicheyal goshti. Many Srivaishnavas took part in the day 1 of pavithrotsavam and had the blessings of Divyadampatis.
