On 20th September, 2016; Durmukhi Varusha Purattasi Bharani, Day 5 of annual Pavithrotsavam was conducted in a grand manner at Sri Veeraraghava Perumal Temple, Thiruvallur .On this occasion, homam was perfomed in the morning and evening. Later in the evening around 5.30 p.m, Sri Veeraraghava Perumal with his consorts thiruveedhi purappadu took place in the maada veedhi of Thiruvellur. Lot of astikas took part in the day 5 of pavithrotsavam and had the blessings of Divyadampatis.
