On, 11th October 2016, Durmukhi Varusha Purattasi Thiruvonam, Day 10 of Swami Desikan Varshika Thirunakshatra Mahotsavam was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Devanathan Perumal Temple Thiruvahindrapuram. The day 10 utsavam is named as Sri Hayagreeva Stotra Utsavam.On this occasion in the early morning 4.00 a.m Swami Desikan in RathnaAngi gave darshan from Kannadi arai followed by thiruppavai, sri Vaishnava dinasari and pannirunaamam goshti and veda prabanda satrumurai. Later Swami Desikan with Sri Hayagreevar in pallaku Thirumalai purappadu with nadaswara kacheri. There Swami desikan was welcomed with poorna kumbha mariyathai and asthanam. There lot of fruits, sweets were brought during neyvedhyam and samarpanam to Sri Hayagreevan and Swami Desikan. Then Padiyetra sevai with 72 kattiyam. Then Swami Desikan did Mangalasasanam to Sri Raman, Sudarsanazhwar, Hemambujavalli Thayar , Rajagoplan, Andal , Nammazhwar and Sri Bashyakarar. In the afternoon Swami Desikan purappadu in pallaku and thirumanjanam was performed in the evening. Later in the night, Perumal & Thayar Serthi accompanied by Swami Desikan Sevakalam and Prabandha satrumurai. Lot of Astikas took part in day 10 of Swami Desikan Varshika Thirunakshatra Mahotsavam and had the blessings of Swami Desikan and Divyadampatis.
