On August 18, 2017, Hevilambi Varusha Aavani Thiruvadirai, Ekadasi and Vellikizhamai (Erattai) purappadu took place for Sri Amaruviappan Perumal and Sengamalavalli Thayar at Sri Amaruviappan temple (also called Devaadi Devan), Therazhundur.
Sengamala Thirumagalum Devaathi Devanudaya purappadu took place in the temple ulpraharam with vedaparayana ghoshti.
