The annual Thirupavitrotsavam Of Sri Boomi Devi Nayaka Sametha Sri Oppliapan Thirupavitrotsvam started of on a grand note on 31st August with mriuthsangrahanam and ended on 4th September with Udhaya Garuda Sevai and Theerthavari. The five day utsvam was celebrated with vedaprayanam and arulicheiyal goshti. Many astikas took part in the utsavam and recieved the blessings of Sri Boomi devi Sri oppliappan and Swami Desikan.
