Dhavana Utsavam was conducted for 3 days in a grand manner at Kanchipuram Sri §Varadaraja Perumal (Devathirajan) Temple. On 3rd March 2018 (Hevilambi Masi Uthiram), the day 1 of the Dhavana utsavam took place in the temple with Sri Divya Dampathi (Sri Varadaraja Perumal, Ubhaya Nachiyars and Sri Perundevi Thayar) Purappadu.
On Day 2 of the Utsavam (March 4, 2018), Sri Varadaraja Perumal blessed devotees in beautiful Kaalinga nardhanam alankaram. On Day 3, (March5, 2018) several bhatkas took part in Dhavana utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Perundevi Thaayaar and Sri Devathirajan. On this day, Perumal had adorned the avatar of Sri Venugopalan.
