Panguni Uthiram Serthi was celebrated at Thirucherai Divya Desam for Thayar and Sri Saranatha Perumal on April 6th 2020 in the Kannadi mantapam of the temple, inside closed doors in the temple, without any sevarthis. Due to the lock-down restrictions prevailing country wide, due to Covid-19, the utsavam was not conduced as it use to be every year.
