On September 21, 2017 (Hevilambi Purattasi Hastham), Day 2 of the Navarathri Utsavam was celebrated grandly at Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Kanchipuram. Sri Varadaraja Perumal with his consorts had thiruveedhi purappadu to Thiruvadi Kovil and returned back to the temple along with Sri Perundevi Thayar. Several astikas took part in the first two days Navarathri utsavam and had the blessings of Divya Dampatis.
