On, January 18, 2018; Hevilambi Varusha Thai Thiruvonam, Vanabhojana Utsavam took place in grand manner at Sri Devarajaswami Temple, Kanchipuram. Perumal looked stunning in the blue Vastram wearing Muthu Rakkodi, which he wears only during the vanabhojana Utsavam. while the Ubhaya Nachiyars gave beautiful darshan in the Blue vastrams. In the early morning hours, Sri Devaperumal and Ubhaya Nachimars in Maina Pallaku Purappadu commenced for Vanabhjana Utsavam. First he reached Kalakkattar Kariyamanicka perumal Temple there Kovil Mandapagappadi took place followed by all veedhi purappadu on all streets of the village. Then he Reaches Keezh road Palar Pandal, The grand thirumanjanam is conducted at Pandal followed by Alankaram and Pathi Ulathal.Then during return Sri Devaperumal in Kedayam visits Srirangaraja Desikan Sannadhi, where Mariyathai given to Swami Nammazhwar , Sri Bashyakarar and Swami Desikan. The procession comes via Annaikattu Theru and Thoopul Swami Desikan joins the purappadu at Thiruvadi Kovil. Then around 10.00 P.m Sri Devaperumal Reaches Kovil and Thirumalai Ezhundarulal. many devotees participated in the utsavam and received the blessings of Thayar and Perumal.
