On 4th June 2018(SriVilambi Vaikasi Thiruvonam), Maadaveethi purappadu took place in Sri Vaidya Veeraraghava Swamy Devasthanam, Thiruvallur. For the procession, Sri Veeraraghavan adorned blue vasthram, beautiful ornaments and different type of flower garlands. Ubhaya Nachiyars wore orange vasthram. Being Sravanam, Maadaveethi Purappadu took place for Sri Veeraraghavan along with Ubhaya Nachiyars and Swami Vedanta Desikan. Nathaswaram was played during the procession. Many devotees participated in the purappadu and received the blessings of Sri Veeraraghavan and Swami Desikan. Grand satrumurai took place with Prabhandam and Veda parayana ghosti.
