As a part of ongoing Brahmotsavam, Day 2 was celebrated on 5th June 2018 (SriVilambi Vaikasi Avittam) at Sri Sowmya Damodara Perumal Temple, Villivakkam. For this occasion, Perumal adorned milk white silk vasthram and several stone fixed necklace,chains and a beautiful crown. He was decorated with several flower garlands of rose, thulasi, jasmine. After alankaram, Perumal had Thiruveethi purappadu on Hamsa vaahanam. Many devotees participated in the purappadu and received the blessings of Sri Sowmya Damodara Perumal. Grand satrumurai took place with Veda parayana ghosti.
