These maida cuts are a favourite with children and easy to make. Here is the recipe:
- Maida – 3cups
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Omam (Ajwain) – 2 tsp
- Ghee – 2 tablespoons or Oil – 2 ladles
- Oil for frying
- Using little water make a dough with maida,salt, ghee and omam.
- The dough should be stiff.
- Roll into chappaties and cut Criss-Cross.
- Deep fry in oil till done by turning over several times.
- Once cool store in airtight container.
